Hello — I’m Suraj Ramesh, based in Chennai, India.

I’m a Product Leader with 20+ years of experience building and scaling cloud infrastructure services from the ground up to production. My work has helped customers automate disaster recovery for mission-critical systems running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). I combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, clear communication, and a high sense of ownership.

I’m a member of the Oracle Database High Availability (HA), Scalability & Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) team, contributing to core Oracle Database technologies. I currently serve as Product Manager for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Full Stack Disaster Recovery, General MAA focus, and Oracle DB Online Reorganization and Redefinition feature.

Earlier in my career I worked as a Database Administrator, Cloud Architect, and IT Manager. I hold multiple professional certifications in Oracle Database and Oracle Cloud, plus associate certifications in AWS and Azure. I’m a regular speaker at Oracle Cloud World and Oracle user groups worldwide.
